MANPREET KAUR ~ The Soul of Bhangra
Born and raised in the heart of Punjab, I MANPREET KAUR has devoted my life to the art of Bhangra & Gidha~ the vibrant, energetic Folk Dances that pulses with the spirit of Punjab. With nearly 10+ year experience I have trained more than 1200 students across all age groups and skill levels.
I began my journey at age of 5 when I used to perform in Bhangra and Giddha competitions organised by my school’s administration. I was first trained by my mother, then my sister and lastly by my coach HARSIMRAN SINGH their guidance helped me a lot in my achievements resulted in making me the President of my college’s Girls Folk Dance Society
[URBAN BHANGRA GIRLS] for nearly three academic years.
My academy is based in Rohini, Delhi which has become celebrated training ground for competitive Bhangra & Gidha teams, Songs choreography and cultural show cases. I do believe that Bhangra is just not a dance — but, it’s a celebration of life and culture which helps in flourishing our Punjabi culture more!!
